Seriously every site over the net is now talking about CSS and all I can see is people whining that they want something physical.

GO HAVE SEX OR SOMETHING.

It winds me up so much, a DVD RW is only about £45 if you look in the right places - plus with that you can back up all sorts of crap in the future when you format.

Its a simple case of putting the GFC's on a disk - but im thinking maybe Valve should make some sort of backup tool that does it all for them - so then they wouldnt whine and feel cheated that they have to wait longer.

Why are they whining, the retail comes with CSS, most likely being one of the 6 disks that come with the game, unless your in the UK, where its just a dvd, if you dont have a dvd rom get one, as there cheap as hell now.

Im not whining it just annoys me that idiots Are whining about not being able to get CSS because they dont want to buy through Steam and wait for it to arrive instore.

I personally do not have a DVD burner. So my only way to have a back up is through purchasing retail. But I am also buying the Gold Package. So i don't care about the whole Steam/Disk nonsense.

The reason is that people, included myself like having the real deal, the box, with the manual files and a DVD with everything on it, not a god damn RW you buy in stores. And not backups, but the actual game on CD that you can install like any other game.

No, you just need to backup the necassary GCF files in the SteamAPPS folder.
