Why can't i see certain avatars on this site?

Problems with the site, been going on for weeks and not just particular users (so its not a local problem), same with the white text and other problems. Somethings screwed up is all.

I get the same problem on several other vB forums when I'm at work, but they work at home, so it's not a user setting.
