I'm serious. There are 2 car insurance companies (that I know of) that do insurance only for women. If there was one only for men there would be uproar about it. Discrimination against men is barly noticed, discrimination against women is shouted from the rooftops.

It's because women have, in the past, had a worse time of it.
I think the idea of women-only insurance is to counter all the "women are bad drivers" cliche there is.
But I do agree that there's a lot of stuff that goes on that is completely unfair. For example, black comedians making jokes about white people. Maybe it's not meant in a vitriolic, overtly racist way, but it's still not all that fair.
However that doesn't overly bother me.

This is true, men crash less but are far more likely to total their cars.

It's not the women only insurance companies or the cheaper prices for women thing that bothers me but the fact that a men only insurance company would probably get bad-mouthed and be labeled as chauvinistic while no one I've never heard of anyone saying anything bad about the female-only companies.

As far as I am aware men can get car insurance from companies such as diamond and the like, just the target audience of the ads is women.

Personally, I don;t think women should be allowed to drive at all, unless it's picking up the kids and going to the grocery store, so they can get back to what they're good at - cooking me dinner.

The funny thing is, with my last girlfriend I actually cooked more meals for her than she ever cooked for me. And there's nothing like cooking a nice, candlelight dinner for Valentine's Day to get a little loving. (In case you didn't get what I was saying there, no, I am not a virgin.)

I actually respect women a lot, but I have some skepticism towards feminists who are still fighting for equality, since I think it's about as equal as it's going to get.

Edit: Oh, and my last girlfriend was co-salutatorian of my class with a 4.2 something GPA.

Fortunately that's an impossibility. First of all you'd have to convince half the women in the world to go against their religion. Second, you'd have to disarm all the men, steal their property (FACT: men own 99% of titled land), and put women in charge of something they couldn't handle (because most women are untrained in management or law enforcement positions).

I couldn't help but laugh horribly at your statement. What really got me laughing is that you said we would have to disarm all the men, stealing their property LOL. Women seem to do it a hell of a lot better than men. Look at a family for example, you hardly ever see a man in charge of a family, it's always a women. If men were in charge, the kids would get fat, and the whole house would smell like engine oil.

They can be, and for the most part they are. But to be true equals is very difficult, because men and women have their own preferences.

Insurance companies run PURELY on statistics so you can't say they discriminate or not. Like it or not it runs on that (and often for me it means the short end of the stick)

Even the color of your car can factor in. Buying a red car = higher insurance rates with some companies.
