Why do you REALLY want HL2?

What makes you really want HL2... is it the story and singleplayer of the half-life series.... is it the multiplayer (ie CS:Source, HLDM, DoD:Source).. or is it the mods?

I'm looking forward to singleplayer AND the mods, but much more the SP than the mods. Depending on what all can be done with Source (relatively easily), I'm planning to work on a short mod myself, so I won't be the least bit disappointed when I finish SP, because there will be much more to enjoy and work on.

Singleplayer. Good SP games are rare these days, IMO. So I want to play a good game and see the HL story continued. As for mods... I'm sure that after release of the SDK, we will be seeing some great mods for HL2 (as well as for Doom3, next year is going to be tons of good mods). Multiplayer, I'm not all that fussed about it. I don't even know if I'll play it at all.
