Why doesn't Steam website and HL2 website announce GOLD?

Their latest news still says "Pre-load 6...."

I'm getting scared.

Please someone put my worries to rest!

When you load the Steam client, you get a big popup telling you that Half Life 2 is now Gold.

Getting the giant popup from the client itself is enough proof for me!

Well. This worried me too. Maybe it's some sort of legal thing. They used steam and steampowered.com to say it's gold. but not their other sites. Do you think they are not legaly binded in anyway with what they do with those {steam} things?

You know what. Really I don't care. I just am trying to calm my mind so I can wait the 29 days.
