Why I Hate The UK: Rain

RAIN.

Rain, rain and more bloody rain. It has been raining here in Cheltenham for 6 DAYS STRAIGHT. Either drizzle or heavy.
Here's photos of me marshalling an NSPL paintball tournament from 9 - 4(ish) IN THE CONSTANT RAIN in Devon on sunday. Oh look, does anyone have a rubber dingy????????
I swear, after about an hour i looked like i had jumped in a pool with all my clothes on. I was wearing plastic bags INSIDE my shoes in a feeble attempt to keep my feet and socks dry...didnt work. Trenchfoot anyone? ;(

Thats me in the middle with the white goggles and tinted lense.

Anyone else simply HATE Britain's weather??? It rains when you get a break, and is sunny when youre busy. Cant wait to get out of here again.

In florida, we get lots of rain during spring/summer/fall.

Us Welshies have already thought of this. Why do you think we breed so many sheep? When the drought hits, we'll just squeeze all the sheep and the water that their wool collected over the many years will just pour out into buckets.

Have to point out we're SURROUNDED by water - i doubt drought will be a problem if the government realises that turning sea into fresh, drinking water is easy if you build the stations and buy the equipment to do it...

actually, if thats the case and we have to hope on the government spending money, you're right - we're all dead.

We know the land better than you do! You wouldn't survive a day in Wales, trudging up all our hills. Not to mention getting lost in all our back-roads.

****ing oath, since we're on level five water restrictions (no outdoor watering, can't use hoses, only 140L to be used per person per day) here, we'd gladly take that.
