I've got this question to answer and I have absolutely no clue how to answer it.

I know what he did during his lifetime and his legacy, but I can't figure out a way to summarize it and thus compare him to those before him and those coming after him, explaining why he is the first "modern" president.

Any help?

"Theodore Roosevelt was the first president to ride in a submarine and automobile. For a few minutes in 1910 he rode in an airplane."

Teddy Roosevelt.....uuum.......he...uuh.....he had a funny moustache and looked like colonel Mustard. He also liked to shoot things, which roxorz. They named the teddy bear after him cuz he killed like a million of em. he didnt like rat meat.......he went 35 years into the future and kicked Hitler in the balls. He tried to battle Chuck Norris, he defeated Chucks Ninjas, but sadly, Chucks beard was mightier than Teddys mustache. Teddy roosevelt is Hulk Hogans father. He destroyed a temple and rebuilt it in 2 days, beating Jesus in a temple building contest by one whole day!

I hope that helps........

Roosevelt was yesterday's featured article on wiki.
Yeah that was pretty interesting.

I can describe his administration and his policies, but I can't say WHY he was the first modern chief executive. And I can't find anything about it on the net, which makes me wonder if he was, but I'm not asked if, but why, so I have to say why...agh!!
*goes insane*
