I'm looking at buying new RAM this week and I found this on trademe.co.nz (New Zealand's equivalent to eBay)...
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Components/Memory/Desktop/auction-14806804.htm

New Zealand dollars!!
This is roughly half the price of brand new DDR400 RAM anywhere else. Is this a terrible brand of RAM, or what? I must be missing something, this is far too cheap to be real. Should I jump at this offer? I'm a little sceptical.

Bugger it, I bought it. Hopefully nothing wrong with it. Free shipping even.

The auction says it's brand new, so it should be good. If worst comes to worst I can just sell it off (probably at a profit).

carefull, I bought "cheap" RAM off ebay and got FU(K3D

It should work OK. Micron is a good brand but it is CL3.

My current RAM is 2.5, I'm sure the micron stuff can run at that aswell.

That's exactly why I advise to not buy off of eBay, buy from a reliable site like Newegg or something.
