why make a big fuss?

Everyone is always making a big fuss about the release date and how its so anoying that its been delayed but if u didn't already know hl2 was suposed to be released last christmas, all this stuff about delay is old news its been happening for over 1 year now. I am just sick of valve and its just stupid.

Do u think valve should burn in hell?

i not worried about the fact i have the wait just that by the time it comes out its engine may be outdated by the likes of Doom 3 and STALKER being released in 2004... i hope not though

Since the game wasn't even announced until earlier this year...how could it be delayed from last Christmas?

As for the actual delay from sept....I've waited 5 years for the game...I can wait a few extra months. No matter why there is a delay, whether you believe the game was finished, or not finished, the good news is with this kind of delay we will get a better, less buggy, product. So it's not all bad when the delay is concerned.

Plus there are some games coming out which should be very good and hold us all over until HL2 is finally released.

URRRRR DIDN;T U WATCH LAST YEARS E3? they had an interview with gabe and he clearly stated that the game was set to be released christmas 2002. I watched it with my own eyes so how can u say i am lieing?
