Why there will be no more preloads

Because Valve added Half-Life 2 in the games that you can backup. Otherwise it would have been very stupid from them.

This is good news because all we'll have to do on Tuesday is activate the game, and that's all. No Valve server crash! :E

They also added day of defeat and half life source to that list, but nevermind, i cant see anything else that needs to be preloaded, we have everything, even the dll's and exe are there, its just the decryption we need now, I doubt we will see half-life source straight away either, best for them to let the bandwidth settle after the 16th before jumping into another preload.
