I seem to have some wierd colors when I play Half-Life 2 and are in relatively dark areas, ironicly I don't suffer from this in Doom 3 though. ;)
If you look at the attachment you see that the wall is a little green.
I've tuned down the resolution and quality on this image so it's less than 100kB and I've also tuned up the brightness a little so you can see it more easily.
Is this normal? Can I fix this somehow?

EDIT:
My speccs are:
K8T Neo2
AMD 3500+ 64bit
X800XT Platinum Edition
2x512MB RAM

that looks like relatively normal lighting to me- some of hl2's lighting is a bit whacked- are you sure you're not just getting paranoid?

Put the image at a higher resolution. The one you have it set to looks like the image has artifacts and is overheating. I see little white dots... Thats not a good sign... :)

Yeah, I guess, I was wondering if everyone has this problem or not though.

I turned down the image a little so it is lower than 100kB, normaly they're not there, it's just the green wall that's concerning me.

Maybe it should be like that then. When I played that part, mine was normally dark black. Also, I do have my brightness turned up a decent amount. Try different drivers and tell me if you recieve the same results.

Hope that helps.

Not enough proper cooling or graphic drivers.

You sure? Because I have like 2x 120mm fans on either side of the case, and the graphics card is mostly at stable 40°C.
The CPU too.

could be your monitor, try changing some settings on the monitor see if that helps- im sure you've already done that though

thats ravenholm right? looks rather bright. go to Options, and adjust your brightness there. it appears you simply cranked it up as high as your brightness could go, makin things that are meant to be dark/black look weird.
if not, adjust monitor birghtness and contrast

Hmm, yeah, you're right, now that I've lowered the gamma to lowest possible, it doesn't look too green anymore. Thanks!

These is colour banding between some dark areas in HL2 it is not just your graphics card. Some areas show notable transitions in black. A very obvious place are the tunnels between levels in the coast.
