It's a sad day when I had to make this thread in lieu of Warbie, but it had to be done.

I picked it up today, and after about 3 hours of ultra-accurate waggling, my old Wii-wrist is flaming up again like an old friend. It seems to me that if you liked Wii Sports and Wii Play, this one's a no brainer.

Anyone else picked it up?

to pick it up would mean that I would lose my honor

so no I didnt

but I didn't buy it, it was a birthday present

FOILED AGAIN

:)

Wii Sports Resort is excellent. If you like party games and have friends, you'll love it.

i have no friends and I hate parties so therefore I did not pick up the amazing Wii Sports Resort.

I've got a Wii, but I've never played or even opened my Wii Sports box (plastic bag?).

My friends are brawl people.

What kind of sick person are you where you would never even try it out of curiosity. I don't trust you.

This thread has thoroughly convinced me to buy Wii Sports Resort. I don't even own a Wii, but I'm still going to buy it. This is gonna be amazing. Does anybody know if I can play my Wii disc in a Nintendo 64?

I've seen others play it. Seems bland.

You probably still wonder what kind of person I am. I'm a rich f_ck.

Explains what? Is this some kind of "If you haven't used them Wii-motes and played it, you don't know Jack about what you're missing out on" argument?

I like the Wii Because i got Dead rising:Chop til' you Drop.
There is one Problem:
The Wii Remote is bad for this. you have to fill all the batteries in the Wii remote again and again.

Just got Tiger '10, I love the series, but for some odd reason I can't help myself to play this one. I got bored after my 3rd tourney.

"...right."

Is there some hidden message in my posts that I am unaware of? What in the ****, Murray. Lol.

Ok you know what? Never mind. I thought there was some "hidden message" and I explicitly asked you that earlier, but never mind.

What the **** are you guys going on about?

Pulling this thread back on topic - Table Tennis is so much better than I'd hoped. Forget the poor excuse in Wii Play, this shows just how much the motion plus can improve things.

After playing more skydiving/flying and messing around with the sword game a little more I'm confident Nintendo will bring out a new Pilot Wings (and it will be godly) and a sword swiping heavy Zelda (at least I hope so).

I wasn't keen on the sword swiping in Twilight Princess either. The sword control in Resort is excellent, though, and in a completely different league - you can cut at any angle at any height with ease. It feels oddly precise. Something like Oblivion/Demon's Soul (or any game that involves melee weapons for that matter) would benefit considerably..

Yeah, the sword fighting is amazing. Actually, most of Wii Sports Resort is like that. You never get beat over the head with how well it controls. It's not like turning on Gears of War 2 and screaming "HOLY ****." It just... works. And you're almost kind of underwhelmed until you sit back and think about how amazing it is.

But yeah, I honestly think they should just take their sword fighting code, pack it up, and just distribute it to every sword fighting game for now on.
