Play.

The dialogue is pretty corny, but it has some fancy effects going on there (for Wii) and if they nail the controls this could be fun. I don't really know how it's going to be able to compare with the extremely high quality shooters of late though.

Like:
Lighting
Shotgun
Aliens
Not a port

Dislike:
Goofy Prey-esque gun
The humans
The blood
Some fairly bland design so far

That looks better than I expected.

It all comes down to how well it controls - will it be a Red Steel, or a Metroid?

Anything non-1st party Nintendo has been really lackluster (and that's putting it nicely) so far. I'll reserve judgment until it's released but I won't raise my hopes up for this.

Wow, looks a lot better then I thought it would be.

Graphics are looking pretty good:thumbs:

Seems likely it'll be a Metroid, they'd have to be incredibly stupid to mess up something already so well established.

I'm pretty sure I would never want to play a FPS on a Wii. Not after using a computer, you can't go back to crude (for a FPS!) controls. It does have some cool effects though. If a Wii was all I had, I'd probably want this.

Play Metroid or Medal of Honor on Wii and you'll see that the Wiimote by far offers the best console FPS controls. It's actually far easier for me to adapt to using Wii controls than dual-analogue, as the Wiimote feels very much like a 3D mouse. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the games to match...

This looks much better in motion than it did in those screenshots that were posted a while ago. The gameplay doesn't look too shabby either (in fact, it reminds me a lot of Perfect Dark for some reason).

I wonder why they put so much emphasis on the fancy visual effects. I'd really rather see some solid level design and art assets than bump mapping and so on. Metroid Prime 3 didn't seem to focus a lot on special effects (although admittedly, it did utilise them more than the previous games) and that still managed to look great.

Yes, that does look quite good. I need more AAA FPS titles on the Wii because when they get the controls right they are absolute perfection. How about some James Bond?? (You all know what I mean...:O)

I havent bought a Wii game besides Zelda and Brawl. This console basically sucks, I don't care what anyone says. It's a giant gimmick, and the world is stupid enough to defend it by saying "EVERYONE CAN PLAY YAY!" The only reason the Wii hasn't been sold yet is because I need to get my hands on a gamecube because I still enjoy playing RE4 and Wind Waker every now and then.

Anybody else notice the choice of names? John Adams, and Ford, presumably Henry Ford, maybe Gerald?, maybe John Quincy Adams?. Both are famous historical American names. It probably ties into freemasonry somehow.

when I was watching the game trailer it reminded me of those freemason movies. (forget the name - national treasure? + davinci code)
