Will Half-life 2 run on windows Vista home premium?

I just got a new Dell and I want to know if Half-life 2 will run on vista before I go buy it. It has a GeForce 8800 Ultra, 2 gigs of ram, and 2.4 GHz quad-core. Please help me, it would be greatly apreaciated.
