Will Halo Lag in-Game?

Okay, so heres my situation. I bought D3 and am experiencing lagging in single player mode. If i buy Halo for the PC, will i experience a similar effect? I take it that Halo is not as graphically demanding as Doom3, so my guess is probably not, however, it'd be great if someone could reassure me. Also, i'd be grateful if someone could tell me how good multiplayer Halo is?

Since Halo isn't a fantastic port code wise, I'm not very sure what your performance would be like.

It will run okay, you might have to tinker with the settings but don't expect any major issue.

Halo plays like treacle for me with any settings. And my setup is at least respectable.

You'll have to run it in fixed function mode.

Add -useff to the end of your shortcut. See the attached screenshot for more info.

Nah. GF4MX doesn't have any kind of pixel/vertex shader. It's DX7 hardware.

I sometimes have a terrible lag in Halo. It pisses me off. I have 512 mt memory but I guess that's not enough for Halo...
