Will HL2 run smoothly on my system at high detail ?

Intel 2.4 GHZ 533 MHZ/ 512 DDR333 / R9500 Pro
I want to run HL2 at high detail ( 1024x768x32 )

Any suggestion for Upgrading ?

it should run at like 40fps without aa or af on.
dont know though since the game is not out and top secret.

It tells you the min specs so that should tell you something. Also you probably saw the benchmark for halflife 2, 9500 > 9600. Put two and two together.
