Will hl2 sountrack be available in shops?

i am purchasing retail hl2, will i be able to purchase the hl2 soundtrack from the shops also??

A quick look at Amazon didn't have any positive hits at this time. I would have to venture a guess that the soundtrack won't be available seperately for the time being. Bummer.

I also didn't see that the music for Half Life available for purchase anywhere either.

Just extract it from your .GCFs when it is unlocked and burn it on to a CD....

If you put your original Half-Life or Blue Shift* CDs in a CD player and skip track 1, you can play all the game music just like with a normal CD.

I don't know if HL2 will allow the same though.

You use the GCFScape tool which lets you look at the contents of .gcf files and extract them.
