Will IT Run On My PC

i went to the game advisor by microsoft to check and it said no but it has lied to be before alot
So here are my specs

AMD Athlon 3800+ 64 processor 2.4 mhz
1.0gb ram
nvidia geforce 6150LE 256MB(shared)
200gb harddrive

And if not what do i need to modify

i dont have the game yet but i checked online i think it meets the requirments but the windows game advisor told me my comp is not able to run it

Yeah it will run. Might have to turn graphics settings to Medium though, that video card is pretty old. Why such a weak video card with an awesome processor?

Get a 6600gt or regular 6800 for abotu $150 and you'll run it just fine

It Runs And Run Flawlessly

I tried the demo that valve has and it run really good i mean the graphics are awsome and no lag i was surprised the game is really good im going to get it

Good, it's a grate game, but if you don't want to know what happens at the end of the game i would stay away from hear till you finish it.

There is a dilluted x1800 XT on newegg.com right now for only 250 I believe. I think either newegg.com or tiger direct.com would be your best bet for finding video cards. Don't mean to sound liek an advertisment but thats just the say it is... =/.

Only buy a new graphics card if you plan on buying new games this year - otherwise wait and save it
HL2 will run perfectly on your system so don't worry on that front

What the hell are you talking about man ? 0_o, the most expensive card I know of is like 500$, the one I got (which runs half life 2 lost coast JUST fine, 60 fps, is an x800GTO, which could easily be overclocked to an x850, but I haven't even had the need. Btw, the x800gto is like 130$ now.

I believe the 512 memory types are around 600-700, could be wrong tho. But you can get a decent one for around 250-300 I think.
