will OB run smoothly on this computer?

i was wondering if ep2 and portal would run smoothly ( without lags ) on a computer like this?

CPU - Pentium 4 3.6 GHz
RAM - 2 Gigs
VGA - Radeon 7000 (actually, this is the one that scares me)

Well, the first two components are fine, but I think you may just squeeze by with the Radeon 7000. Source supports most DX7 cards I believe.

Correct. Early ATI cards ran with the number to indicate the DX version. 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300 @ 7500 were DX7 & the 8500 & up were all DX8 & up.
