Will This Computer Do?

256 mb RAM
ATI Radeon 9200SE 128mb

can i run HL2 on this computer? i don't care if the graphics arn't up to snuff as long as the game runs and doesn't look like some Playstation 2 port.

Runs fine on my machine with 512 megs total memory but more than that makes loading times shorter I think.

That will run, but you will not get any performance out of the game, U will probably have to run it at 800 x 600 with medium settings.

Why bother with 2gb of RAM when your processor is a dog

The game will run perfect if you where to purchase a FX 6 Ultra or GT ard, then you will not need to upgrade your processor. You will then get MAX graphic settings with 1024 x 768 resolution..You will find that Half life is not as processor dependant when compared to DOOM 3.
