The gameplay seems interesting, the graphics above adequate, and let's face it there is a lack of decent games out there. So, I think I will pick it up. How 'bout everyone else?
 
This should be a poll. But yes, I will be getting Prey the day it comes out.
 
I'm going to borrow it from the internet for an indefinite amount of time.
 
No, I wasn't impressed with the demo
 
Saving for more important things at the moment. Probably on budget in a year or in sales.
 
Dont think i'll get it. Though i did like the teleports and the spirit power was pretty cool.
 
Probably not. Nice touches, but the combat seemed dull.
 
I won't buy it. Seemed too - turn corner, kill bad guy, turn corner, kill bad guy... rtf.
 
I'm getting it. I'm not excited or anticipating it like I did with Oblivion and some of the other games, but I'm getting it. I think it is a great game, that will offer up lots of entertainment for years to come (think of the MODS!!!)
 
100% getting it already have it preordered.
 
Oh, and it's probably one of the final games to come out for PC that will even run on my computer.
 
sure, I'll get it. The demo was fun enough and I need a fairly good game to hold my interest for a while...at least until Wii, supreme commander, spore...etc.
 
I really like the DM multiplayer and the SP is pretty fun too...so yes.

I'm not sure - it seems that they did their best to make sure gameplay is interesting. There are some annoying graphical bugs and the game itself is visually annoying.
 
I'm getting it. Mainly for the mythology of the aliens and their intentions.

I'm a SP guy.

No, I am saving for some adventure titles releasing later this year that I am infinitely more interested in, along with some DS titles and next-gen stuff for the holidays. :D
 
might get it eventually but not at release. more likely i'll just play it at work... i think we've preordered a bunch of copies to run on our PCs.

How and why do you listen to reviewers? Make your own opinion goddame...Letting people decide for you, telling you what you should get or not. Not only that you listen to the idiots on gamespot rolf. No offense dude but they serious look and sound like slow retards...Seriously think that site is run by challenged people. I hate it when poeple wait for reviews etc. I mean maybe a respectable reviewer someone who you will listen to for fun but still have a base and get a game he doesnt like. People are different and iv got many games that my favorite reviewer rated in the low 70%s mid 70%s that i LOVED. Still Life for example. I never agreed with critics or reviewers 99% of them are selfish idiots who talk smack and think they are some kind of super movie/game oracle.

Usually they do know more than you about movies/games and that is why they are payed to review their category of entertainment.
 
What Kamikazie said. The demo was pretty awesome, but what if everything else in the game turns out to be shit? I'd wanna know about it!

Anyway, I'll probably get it.

I think most people on this forum know just as much if not more than a lot of reviewers. But still, you should listen to the reviews for the obvious fact that they have played the game and you haven't. I personally wait to see what the general consensus of this community is, because they usually have opinions I agree with (except for certain people who don't seem to like anything, and certain people who seem to like everything :p).
 
Definitely - preordered already to get the art book and DVD media. I'm salivating over this game. Personal preference though, It's not for everyone. I'll also get a couple of the pewter figurines, but I'll probably give them to a nephew.

When the torrent is out, Im not payin £30 for a DOOM3 mod!!
 
well its got exactly the same gameplay, tacky monsters, slighylt better gfx, crap sound, crap guns, NO enemy AI AND the story is sooooo sh1t

I even went back to playin doom3, Prey its just DOOM3 with more light and gimmicks like that "spirit" ghost thing and changing gravity
