I have just heard the new NIN song on winamp. In a word- poppy. When it started playing i though I had accidently cliked the wrong song. But no, Trent Reznor came in. His voice sounds, different, not sure why. Sort of more mature, hmm...
I rekon the song was made for commercial sucess, which i hope it has (europe only though, not going to be released in america!). Hmm with a bit of luck ill have some new NIN fans before long!
Well bring on the new album!
Im going to see them on the 11th july in manchester, anyone else?

GOOD GOD I've been watching/listening to the video on the site on repeat for hours now. It IS pretty poppy, but it sounds good. Extremely nice riff. The lyrics are excellent too.

It's too bad it won't be released here in the States :( but With Teeth comes out soon! I'm going to the concert, but they haven't released most of the US tour dates yet; I'm traveling as far as I have to and spending as much as I need to to see NIN.

i tried to listen to it on the nin site, but it never loads :/

It's a really large file, for some reason you can't watch it until it fully loads.

And NIN singles have always been poppy (see: Down In it, Closer, Into The Void). :P If you ever listen to the track samples floating around, you'll see that NIN are still very much NIN. :) Don't expect another Fragile though, With Teeth sounds closer to Broken/Pretty Hate Machine to me. But...not. Blah. Just listen to them. :P

And I'm going to Manchester on the 11th as well. :D

Just leave it there for a bit and it'll come up in a minute or so. It's 35mg on a connection that I suspect isn't quite as fast as we'd like.

Yeah, Kage, I've noticed that all the popular NIN singles are poppy... wonder why they call it that? It's still a great song, and the video's actually pretty cool, I like the camera work.

It'd make sense that With Teeth is going to be more like Broken or PHM, since it's the first since Pretty Hate Machine without ANY instrumentals.

The few legal clips of songs floating about are pretty good, and not as poppy as this one, but I honestly don't care how poppy they are, this album is looking to be fantastic :D

I'm off to see them on the 7th in Glasgow. I wonder who'll be supporting them. I wouldn't mind it if the Dresden Dolls come over here.

No but I will "Bite the hand that bleeds"

^^^

a song off archetype, fear factory.
