Winamp 5.0 Full (official) released

finally, last winamp version would always have errors and make me reinstall. After i reinstalled i'd get about a month of use out of it before having to do it again lol, who knows.

Yay finally! ive been using v 5 beta for awhile. Thanks for the headsup.
 
Im using 3.0 it runs fine. Havent had any problems at all? I did with some of the 2.xx version even 2.81 I think. Hmm I havent gotten 3.0 to paly any WMA thoug? Isn't 3.0 supposed o play WMA?
 
i use 2.91 and its great. anyone got this new version yet? if so how is it

EDIT: w00t just got this thing, and it's wonderfull. i suggest you all at least try it out if you're having doubts about it.

Winamp 5 is actually Winamp 2 with winamp 3's beauty (winamp 3 sucks compared to winamp 2).

winamp 2 + winamp 3 = winamp 5

Thanks for the heads-up! I really liked the beta, which I've been using for a long time, and now it's even better!
 
You can just goto filemirrors and search for the filename if that link doesn't work for you. Plenty of mirrors there.

Getting it now. I hope my skin works with 5..or else I'm not gonna use it
 
Downloadin' right now. I've been usin' the v5.0 Beta for a while, and so far have had 0 problems. I looooove it :D :D :D.

The monodark coloring on the default modern skin is pretty cool. :E
 
Hurrah it's finally out. Thank's for the heads up.

I hate having this 'dirty' feeling having beta software on my PC :p

Installed and working perfectly :)
 
Yep i installed it too :) using the mmd3 skin as it is my fav. because i can minimize it to a small bar :)
 
My skin works... and I'm happy.

I use the EMP Skin down to compact size so it's just a bar.

The only thing I wanna be able to change is the playlist font size. It doesn't scale down with the "Scaling" option anymore...Ah well.

Using it now, it's hell pretty :) Only when I'm clicking between 20-30 IE windows at once it tends to lag :p not much we can do about that. BTW did anyone notice the AOL partnership/sellout? Hmm...
 
I'm a slut, I prefer Itunes for Windows. :naughty:
 
i like winamp... but i'm not sure if i want to take the time/effort required to shut winamp down and install 5....

Really? Never noticed it.

I love how they put recommended next to all the partnership offers. YIM is the worst for this I've seen, even reminding you afterwards you didn't click it :p
