im thinking of switching over but first i have a few problems

1. where can i get an update for it from XP?

2. my current copy of windows is somewhat, well lets just say i got it from off the back of a truck. how will this hinder my quest for a copy of XP64?

theres a beta u can dl on microsoft.com and u will need winxp pro then i think u can trade in to get 64bit edition

Support for it isnt great at the moment, peripherals that need drivers and dont have 64bit editions just wont work. wait until you need 64bit for games or software before you make the change.

It's already out no betas anymore. You trade in your xp key for a xp 64 key at microsoft.

most of the 32bit programs/games will not work on 64bit windows...
so if u dont want to play games anymore... well then change
