Windows 7 no sound

So I just finished getting Windows 7 up and running today but the one major problem is that there is no sound at all.

I am using a Creative Sounblaster Xfi Extreme Sound I believe and I checked for new drivers, reinstalled them, removed them, etc but my sound won't work at all. Does anyone know how to fix the sound problem for Windows 7?

It was probably something really stupid and he is embarrassed.

It was a driver problem. Drivers wouldn't work and I didn't know the exact card so I went onto dell and look at my computer/drivers for it. Went to Creative and downloaded the ones for my card and it worked.
