Has anyone figured out as to why so many files/folders have to be set separately to allow the Administrator to have full permission? I went to the root drive and had EVERYTHING set to inheritable permissions, and yet all the folders need separate permission settings.
I don't understand why I can't just click the 2 check boxes that say make this the parent folder and set the permission for the rest of the folders. Instead I have to go through to each folder and do this.
Also, the recycle bin on my external is corrupt. What do I do about that?
Oh also, how do I make this drive a network drive? It's telling me on my computer that I don't have the permissions even though it's set on the main computer to allow everything, and I'm pretty sure I set the network settings correctly as I can add the 'public' folders and such as a network drive.
Also, what do the locks on the folders mean in Windows 7?
Today is a bad day for me. Haha.
