Very very wrong.
Alpha = Quite unstable not all features in.
Beta = Stable for the most part, testing for bugs.

So the Beta of this means, they are testing out new features and bugs of the upcoming version of Live Messenger.

I've never used anything past MSN 7.5, Windows Live is just horrible.

Bah the majority of people use AIM or MSN. Seeing as I know no one who uses AIM or any other protocol it's just easier this way.

im all for ui improvements as long as it means better structure and efficiency, but all they seem to be doing is making a really bloated IM client which caters to the lowest denominator.

I really like this version.

The lowest version I've used is MSN Messenger 6.4.

I just use AIM. I hate it, but I... actually don't need it... I have MSN on this, but none of the friends on there even go on anymore except for this one girl but she is on infrequently. D:! This thread is, in its entirety, pointless.
