Windows Log-on sound

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows where this sound file could be found? It's the noise made when you logon from the welcome screen.

same here, I turned all Windows sounds off. They are annoying as shit, but the real reason is if for example, I'm listening to music, I don't want to hear sound effects when I click things. Also, if I'm recording or something, same deal.

Yeah, I turned off windows sounds too. Those startup and shutdown sounds are annoying, especially when you accidentally leave the volume turned up.

I didn't turn mine off, although I think I did something to them, the only time they make sounds is start-up (not shutdown, though) and the 2 note one made when something pops up, but about 95% of the time when it makes that sound it actually is something important to me.. Luck?

You can disable that by pulling the PC-speaker wire from your MB.
But then you wont get the beep when ur computer boots. :bounce:

I disable all windows sounds because they annoy me, especially when listening to music.

Yeah, I hated that. Occasionally, when playing a game, I need to press more than 3 keys. That's one reason I got a better keyboard.

I got the Fatal1ty keyboard. It's so awesome. I don't think I could live without the back-lit keys anymore also.
