I recently installed WMP 10, and I've just found out that it doesn't seem to recognize that I have certain codecs installed on my computer. I think Divx and Xvid turned out ok, but for some reason it doesn't detect 3ivx, and none of my other players will play it either, not even Media Player Classic. And I have the latest 3ivx codec installed. I didn't have these problems with WMP 9, so is there a way to fix this but if not how do I get rid of WMP 10 and go back to 9?

Did you re-install the codecs after installing wmp10?

Yes I did, and then I uninstalled and reinstalled again. It's fine with Divx and Xvid and my other ones, but doesn't work at all with 3ivx files. And 3ivx is my favorite one. I have another strange problem with Indeo codec videos, see I can't watch them if I click on a link and open them without saving, it gives me a codec error, but if I save the movie and actually download it, then it works. Dunno what's up with that. And none of this happened before when I had WMP9.
