Does the boot screen ask you to push any particular buttons?

your sure you didnt overwrite your previous one, correct?

And did you use any third party software for your partition?

nope i didnt overwrite it and no third party sofware

On your C drive do you see the windows 2000 install folder?

If its there go to your MS config. I am going to assume Vista has msconfig, so under run type msconfig.

Go under yourt boot.ini tab. Are both installations listed there? If they aren't you will have to edit your boot.ini file manually:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289022

what he said should do it ^
after doing that it will ask you which OS you would like to run when booting.

i cant find the boot.ini in vista =\
and when i checked msconfig there is no windows 2000 just Vista

and that link for XP =\, i tried it but i cant get pass the first step cuz i cant find the boot.ini
