Windows XP Home question

OK. Here's the deal. I'm in the middle of a fresh build and I'm on the verge of deciding to go with Windows XP Home. I've used Pro for the past few years and I find that I'm not using a lot of the features that you get with it. Everything that I've read suggests that XP Pro and Home are exactly the same, EXCEPT for the features that I'm not using. All I really do is play games, surf, some multimedia apps....I don't file share....in all honesty, I'm a very basic user.

So, real world questions using a FULLLY updated Windows XP Home. Should I expect any performance difference in games? Both online and offline? And should I expect a hit in stability?
