Right, this is a really nooby question to ask but I have never ever had this problem. When I shutdown my comp, it no longer shutsdown automatically, it gives me the "It is now safe to turn off your computer" text ala windows 95 and 98 but more stylish. Is there anyway to turn it back to the auto shutdown? I have failed to find the place to do that :( I really hate having to wait and then turn it off manually.

Weeelll.... I do have logitechs drivers, but that isn't the issue, since I HAVE been able to close my comp "normally" when i've had these drivers installed. Anyway I did the APM thing, but guess what? when I clicked the square, my comp froze :/
