I had the classic style on my old computer (With XP Pro) because according to my brother, it makes it a little faster.

dont like blinds either because it edits control panel and when you try to change the color of the start bar it's like

"OH NOES THIS IS SHAREWARE. WE OWNZ YER COMPUTOR"

These programs usually need registering, and always take system resources which translates into slower loading times and lower system performance.

Instead, you can download a tweaked UXtheme.dll which you simply run (it installs it for you) and reboot ... you can then install any windows theme you want.
