*(WIP) Work in progress.

Alot is left to be done with it. Some things that need to be done:

- Finish geometry in the bases. Adding a second level, as well as a rooftop
- Finish texture work
- Replace light placeholders with actual lights
- Add props
- Build rooms in the bases
- Add lights to side corridors
- Add weapon and health pickups
- Add ladders
- Create 3d skybox to replace current 2d one

Im also toying with the idea off adding an underground sewer type area that leads into both bases.

Although this map is a dm map, it is being designed with a CTF gametype in mind.

I realize its not much right now, i just wanted to get some initial feedback on the general layout of the map. Alot of the textures are not what they will be in the final, especially wherever you see brick.

This is my first time mapping for any game, and this is my first map for HL2.

From what I can see it is basically 2 bases, and a small court in the center.

Seeing as it is for DM, you really should just get rid of one of the bases. Otherwise it just get's confusing. (especially if you make them mirror images of one another)

If you ever want to make it for some teamplay mod, simply copy paste the base back over...

Now to the actual analysis.
The map is a simple design. An outside and an inside. Make sure you don't make the inside too cramped. You need space to walk around and manipulate. Also, be sure to fill the outside with cover. Everyone becomes clear targets if they are in a big old field.

Also, I would recommend it making sense too. You don't normally see bases like these all walled in with no sign of entry, or purpose.

Make it into a control center, abandoned factory, etc. Give it a theme.

You might want to make everything bigger too. I would say about 2x the size. Just too small for the intentions (and style) of this map.
