Making this for Pendragons mod (Untitled Teamplay Mod thing in General Editing). Really just making it for fun, but started making it after I read his post. Close-ups of specific parts can be provided. Here are the pics ;)

It stands at 5518 triangles. Largely copied from the Matrix mech, but some parts are improvised. Completely unsmoothed in all pics.
 
hey, when you rende, can you throw a skylight or 3 omnis (1 at 1.0 w/ shadows, 1 . ~.3 no shadows, and 1 at 1.2, no shdaows) to lightne the mod so we cna see the details?

But that is very nice. Just be sure to add yellow paint with all that rusty and worn stuff. So it looks like a really old mech thingy...thing...

Love the model.
 
I screwed around with the lighting a little bit, first time using lighting so bear with me ;)

P.S.
It was meant to be pretty close to the Matrix mech ;) I still haven't added the cockpit, or a few details on the back.
 
lmfao i wonder where u got that concept from :D

It looks good except some of the parts look to, well how can I put it. The mech style u are going for is the more pipe style mech rather than solid metal, but on the legs u have like solid blocks going across the legs, then when u look to the side it looks like its made out of pipes. What I mean by this is basiclly try and make the front view look more pipey. I dunno if I am making sense or not but anyway :P

Ow and another thing, i kinda choose a bad concept for a mech, u should have dome some gundams, here are some refrence images for u:

its really close to the apu in revoutions did u guys check out the apu pics on the matrix site?
 
Ok...never heard of this mod, so I commented the mo´del like it was invidual craft and has nothing to do with any mod. I'm L-A-Z-Y.

But I still think rusted yellow paint looks cool.
 
I tried to make the legs as pipey looking as I could, but they look pretty close to the source already, and it's already pretty high on the polygon count.
