Wireless pisses me off.

I hate my wireless adapter. Its a shitty Belkin internal PC card. I need a new one now. I cannot stand this one. Whenever I load up a game that takes up some bandwith, every other object on my desktop disconnects. I have had problems when I would go try and connect my AIM and it just sits there, same with Xfire.
Can anyone recommend me a wireless adapter preferably external?

I run on a Netgear MR814 router. I think thats the number. Anyway, it runs 11 mbps which is perfectly fine because I always have a 'Very Good' signal up here. I really just want a brand new network card. Oh I also forgot to mention the fact that when I load up Steam and go to find servers and actually start to find servers, everything disconnects just not the internet and Steam. Then while its finding the servers, I only get about 35 under 100 ping and then the rest skyrocket from there. Oh I forgot to mention that servers are for EVERY GAME. That means I get 35 total for CS 1.6, DOD 1.6, CSS, DODS, HL2DM, etc..

Maybe try a netgear card to match your router. Or a linksys. Otherwise I'd try to look up the difference between B and G and even MIMO with performance (not just transfer speed).

I had a Netgear card. Believe me, that was the first brand I tried, and that one blew horribly bad. I got disconnected every 15 seconds, and the antenna broke off. I mean the gold part where you connect it literally broke.

MIMO is easily the best out of the three. I'd just rather not purchase a new router till this one starts to kick the bucket. When that happens, I will definetly give it a pair of cement shoes.
