I recently bought a Netgear Wireless 802.11G Router. Now I'm planning on having the router in a different room from the PC's. Instead of buying wireless cards for all my PC's I was thinking of getting a Wireless Access point for the computer room. Now I noticed that WAP's have only one connection on the back. So I'd have to hook it up to a switch (which I already have). My question is, what if I just bought another wireless router. Could I use it as a WAP? They're roughly the same cost.

you'd want a wireless bridge, not an access point. An access point is what you hook up to a hard wired router so that pc can connect to it wireless..ly . An bridge basically hooks into your ethernet port, and goes to a little box with an antenna that connects you to your wireless network. So, it should work with a switch.
