I was wondering if there was any sort of thing that I could plug into a spot on my non-woreless router to allow a wireless device to use that spot? Kinda like a wireless adapter thing. Help is appreciated.

Not really. I have a network set up with a non-woreless router, and I would like to be able to have a Wireless device connect to that network without changing the whole network to wireless. Like something that would just plug in the router like a normal network cable.

you could get a wireless router and plug it into your existing wired router :p

Yeah, a Wireless Access Point plugs into a network port on the router and gives you a place to connect with your wireless machines/devices. Nothing else is needed. Wireless routers can be used as WAPs.

If you don't want a WAP, I have no clue what you are wanting. lol

Sorry, I thought the WAP was a wireless router at first D:
but now all is good, thanks all for the help.

just get a wireless router, those still have the normal cable ports on it so you don't have to buy adapters for your other PCs, and then ur laptop/desktop can use the network wirelessly as well.
