So, Broadband isn't around here. Wireless is.
So, they say I can get 50Kb\s(50 Kilobytes). That is 10x faster than my current 56k.

It's a $300 for equipment and $100 for installation. No contract. 25 a month. That 25/month is actually cheaper because we also have a second phoneline that we will cancel.

I could also pay $100 for installation, and free equipment for a one yaer contract, but then its $35/month.

So its 10x faster, it's great right. My question to you is what is the better package? What would you take if you were in my position.

Also, what would be my average ping to someone else in the U.S.?
You know maybe from Wisconsin to Texas?

Ping plays a huge role..as im a gamer. Im guessing 120 - 180 average?

i'd go with the one year contract for $35/month, because in a year you can re-evaluate and work out if there are better deals. but if you think that this will last you for a while then go with the $25/month dealie.

Im mostly wondering about the ping though. That will pretty much tell me if I will or wont take it.

wireless broadband is incredibly laggy for gaming apparently, as the signal has to travel alot further and through more points than standard wired adsl. i would only think that this would be the same, but its worth checking out to see if it would be better than your 56k for gaming. I know how frustrating it is not being able to get dsl as my community was only recently upgraded.

My 56k Averages 250 - 300ping if that helps..

Actually wireless broadband isn't that bad for gaming from what I've experienced.
When I had a 256k connection(standard DSL speed) I was pinging around 60-80 on most good CS:S servers.

After comparing the prices for the two options I think that it'd probably be better to go with the annual contract because that will save you alot.
Monthly $25 + installation and junk for a year = $700
Annual contract + installation = $520
$180 is a pretty good amount of money to be saving. And when the year is over you should be able to switch to the lower monthly payments if you decide that you want to keep the service.

I would really like a more accurate represntation of the ping speed. I'll contact them again to know. I just don't want it to be worse than 56k or alot slower(satellite).

Anyways, thx for all your help!
