*Gives a thumbs up*

If you can argue a point in your English essays as well as you can argue about Vorts on the messageboards, you should be fine.

When my mum was in school, if you failed Irish you failed everything, apparently! I hope the system has changed since then, for your sake :E

There's a language called Irish?

Well, Gaelic...I think that's what riomhaire is talking about. It's just "some batty language" :P Spot the quote and win a toenail.

AH, lucky bastard.... I got 7 damn months of school left for the year.

"Is the Irsih all, like drug adicts. Cause dey is always sayin they is havin good craic"

Gaelic is the native language of Scotland. (OK, well it's actually called Scots Gaelic but still)

Welsh is also a form of Gaelic.

None of my Scottish friends speak Gaelic. I love watching Gaelic programmes on the tele went I'm in Scotland, though. They don't.

French and German are also Gaelic (note the Roman name for France was Gaul, Gaul=Gael)
