I don't know anything about the motherboard. The msi k8n neo2 platinum is a good board. Available at newegg for ~$140.

i'm sure that crucial is good too though.

check the memory reviews tab at www.anandtech.com ... the first two links (as of this posting) reviews high performance pc-3200 mem on a k8 system.
some clocked to 300MHz, OCZ attained DDR590 at T1 command rate; obviously at high latencies, but had the best performance of all tested.

Obviously you only need this if you are hardcore overclocking. If you do, this'll be the best, but if you are only doing a moderate overclock, the cost of mem like this might not be worth it. Well, maybe the $220 one. I got that from newegg today, havent tested it yet.
