After finally getting the SG achievement (played since beta, 24 hours as eng....) I only have one more left...
Anyone want to do a 'meet' on a server (hl2.net #1?) to gain the achievement? (or to help out others).

My idea is either sat/sun 11pm+ or mon/tues (anytime)

Obviously 6 other people need to agree... Well maybe 7?
Steam: Play on a team of 8 made up of only players from your friends list.
In-game: Play in a game with 7 or more players from your friends list.

edit - pardon the noob here. I think I'm in? For this to work, you have to add me, and I you, correct?

I don't go in the chatroom myself (sorry!) - But yeah you add everyone else, you can also do it while playing on the server by pressing SHIFT+TAB and clicking friends, add a friend - I think.

We seem to have 5 people now, so if everyone can be on the server I gave, on sunday at 11pm - we can probably invite a couple more and those who don't have them on their 'list' can add them while playing, and we'll hopefully be all sorted!

PS, you need to give your steamID (not your player name) so people can add you while you're not playing a game.

Does just adding random people to your friends list from the current game you're playing work for this achievement?

Yeah you can add anyone you like!
At least this way we can all get the most annoying achievement (non-skill based), but if this fails, I'm heading to a 24/7 32 player and adding everyone I can! 7 people are likely to accept.

I believe there's another 32 achievements coming very soon for the medic. So that will be fun.

well that really sucked, i was in with six friends and some french guys that wouldn't respond to my invites, finally i got a seventh guy and the server crashed :/ we should try it again, but preferably not at 4am PST

I'd say yesterdays was a success, apart from Multivac, never mind, at least 2 or 3 of us got it, including me

I noticed I got it after a round ended, even though I had 8 people as friends before then. I think this was the same for other people, unfortunately the server kept crashing after that.

I think it'd probably be just as much 'work' to go on a 32 player server at the start of a map, and add everyone possible. I'm sure at least 7/8 would accept, then you can delete them after lol.

Just add all the hl2.netters, once people know a games is on then they will pile in, in numbers generally. Random people aren't likely to accept your friends requests unless they've played a few rounds with you successfully (IE you've proven you can kick ass, support well, or clearly know what your doing) .
