Within The Woods, A Prequel To Evil Dead!

I never knew this existed but before Evil Dead was released, Director Sam Raimi actually did a small 32 minute version of Evil Dead. It's even got Bruce Campbell in it. Obviously being a huge Evil Dead fan I had to watch it. Unfortunately the version online is of pretty low quality still it's worth watching so check it out:

Naturally I did a search and found a place where you can buy a DVD set with this and 7 other short films he did on one disc so I am going to buy that. The movie was never released on DVD and only boot leg copies exist that where coppied off of VHS tapes I presume. Still it's worth owning if you are an Evil Dead fanatic. For the fans you will be happy to note of two new movies in development listed on Bruce Campbell's site. Here they are:


My Name Is Bruce - http://www.bruce-campbell.com/projects/bruce.htm This seems to be heavily influenced off of the Evil Dead movies and I wouldn't be surprised if it actually does have Evil Dead stuff in it.

Evil Dead 4 - http://www.bruce-campbell.com/projects/evil-dead-remake.htm Many fans have been dreaming of a new Evil Dead movie and according to Bruce's site one is going to be made in the near future.

I am very excited for both of these projects and I hope they do truly come out.
