The CIA's chief weapons inspector said he cannot rule out the possibility that Iraqi weapons of mass destruction were secretly shipped to Syria before the March 2003 invasion, citing "sufficiently credible" evidence that WMDs may have been moved there.

""sufficiently credible" evidence" sounds a touch deja vu-ish to me :)

I thought we were going to Iran next...damn gonna have to reprint these t-shirts now...

seriously this sucks in ways I would probably get banned for expressing fully

by the time they roll into syria the public will have forgotten about iraq

it so scary nowadays...Orwell's 1984 and quite a few other bad situations rolled into one it seems to be at times..

I suggest bombing their infrastructure into dust and sending aid immediately. Or not doing anything. The CIA has lost much credibility. I severely hope the major reforms its gone through have made an impact to their reliability. Instead of wasting money on foreign conflict how about we ****ing ignore their shitheap countries and focus more on us like the good old days.

Monroe Doctrine '08!

Okay, I'm going to put my cynicism to the side for now. If there actually is evidence to support this idea, then I think some kind of follow-through is in order. Not invasion, mind you. But we shouldn't rule out the possibility that WMDs were moved to Syria.

Of course, this is assuming that the evidence actually is "sufficient" and "credible".

How long do you think that will be? the people haven't forgotten Vietnam or Desert Storm. People maybe far more willing to forgive then they ever will to forget.

I agree ...but they'll forget WHY they went into iraq ...they already have

oh noes!!!1 have they set a date?

/me plans to move to the US where he'll be safer

Gee, I can't rule out the possibility that the president is a ****ing liar putting pressure on the CIA to adjust intelligence to fit his agenda. I am citing "sufficiently credible" evidance when I say this.

I want everyone in our workforce to know - I seek to encourage and expect the best from everyone in CIA. Our country demands it, our President needs it, and this institution deserves it. I also intend to clarify beyond doubt the rules of the road. We support the Administration and its policies in our work. As Agency employees we do not identify with, support, or champion opposition to the Administration or its policies. We provide the intelligence as we see it - and let the facts alone speak to the policymaker.

They'll go after the UK.

The reason:
We are a nuclear country (We have nuclear weapons)
We are hooligans (Well that somes it up in 3 words)
We are housing terrorist (Okay, this is an assumption, as we have so many illegal immigrants that its hard to identify a majority of them)
Some of us disagree with US foreign policies (C'mon, who doesn't)

I hope that the sufficient evidence evaporates. We do not need another Iraq on our hands. Well i must admit there is a slim chance that the WMDs were exported to Syria, i really doubt that they were. I think Bush is picking another fight. I would wait and see what NK is gonna do, now that it is getting ready to test nuclear weapons.
