WMP11 is not going away.

I love it and all, but it will not let me view videos with their correct colour. Only a couple come out black, but its been happening a lot more recently. I tried the suggested way, the way MS said to do it, and it doesn't work. Help.. Its haunting me.. I'm trying to roll back to WMP10, but it won't leave..

EDIT: I do not know exactly what my problem is as I just installed another player, and it is happening on the other one also..

If I'm not mistaken, it is some kind of codec that is screwing me over, but I have no idea which one. I uninstalled all of mine so I have the normal ones. WHAT THE **** IS THE PROBLEM?!?!!? ITS NEARLY PITCH ****ING BLACK...

I am getting pissed off more than you can believe.

Every ****ing video is basically black now...

I can only turn the brightness up for videos I play in WMP. Plus, when I tried, the videos looked like total shit. They were too bright and made the video look like a shitty pink television. It does not work like that. Help.

driver problem ? i remember when all my videos where all purple no matter what i tried them in, turns out my settings where all weird so i just reset them to default (nvidia drivers).

Wow. Thank you. It was actually because nVidia ****ed up in the video colour place. For some reason my brightness was set to VERY ****ING LOW. Thanks a lot destrukt.

No problem, when someone suggested to me to check the colour settings in there I was like "How the hell was that changed ?!" - It was weird.
