Woohoo! Getting a 6800GT and a NEC 19" 930sb tomarrow!

Finally ditching my 17" Compaq MV720 and getting a nice 19" NEC/Mitsubishi Diamondtron, cant wait. Just sold my Sapphire 9800p for 170$ and im putting that towards a BFG 6800gt "OC". Sad thing is, a whole new lineup of vid cards will probably be out before HL2 comes out lol, ah well, BF2 looks 100x better :afro:

Damn, should have gotten on the whole computer hardware wagon when I had the parents to smootch money from. The last time I seriously upgraded my computer, I had to eat eggs for an etire month, but it was worth it, oh it was (trying to convince myself).

Ha, no offense intended, I was talking from my experience, here's what I mean.

When I lived at my parents I bought a computer, emptying my bank account, but having food and everything. Now living on a college budget with tuition constatnly draining my bank account, the only way to upgrade my computre is to cut down on food.

Just telling a story of me going hungry for HL2

That's what I tried to tell my roommates, they just looked at me and shook their heads. Ha, I'll laugh at them once I get HL2, the operative word being ONCE.

Pfft...try eating top Raman for 3 months. That will make you appreciate eggs then. :| Whats worse is that it wasn't for a computer upgrade, it was because of money shortage. College is way too expensive.
