Well, I just got a letter in the mail confirming that I'll be performing in the American Choral District Association NATIONAL choir. That's right, I'm in the choir of the UNITED STATES. We're performing in Florida in may :D

In addition, last night, I sang (and played) Hallelujah in my school talent thing. Today, I got 23 hugs, 9 kisses, and 4 requests to sing in separate bands. I'll put the video on youtube as soon as I get the DVD.

So basically, I'm in an incredible mood.
 
You're a choir boy compared to me! A Choir boy! Well it seems you really are, do you have the voice of an angel?
 
Congrats man! Are you a Soprano, Tenor, or the other one?
 
Er... I got in as an upper bass, but I can sing all the way up to alto :p
 
Wow, grats man. I still can sing up to soprano, but my singing voice is a little weak since they cut choir at my school for money reasons.

Most men can sing soprano, but that is just them singing falsetto, which is easier then singing high in your normal voice.

Hehe, grats man. I got into a state jazz and state orchestra receantly, they're awesome fun. (State, mostly because WA is in the middle of nowhere, as compared to the rest of Australia)

do you have any advice for a beginning singer? basically, what i know is good posture, breathing, keeping your adams apple as low as possible.
do you know good exercises for following instruments etc, like the typical do re mi? i can play the piano and guitar pretty well so i'd like to learn to sing at least at a basic level
 
I was in the Australian youth choir when I was younger, and once my voice had broke I coulden't sing for shit.
