Words Speak Louder Than Actions.

I belive it is safe to say that:
George Bush's intelligence < A large sack of dirt. Not the store bought kind. The kind you find in a landfill. Bush is no where near the store bought kind.

That was great. Good find.

Hah, me and my history teacher were talking about how George Bush supposedly graduated from Yale, Harvard one of thoose top schools. But seems to portray himself as a moron half the time. We came to the conclusion/speculation that this may because the book, The Prince by Nicolo Machiaveli. This guy's book if you havent heard about it really tries to depict the perfect leader in Machiavelis point of view, it incorporates deceiving people somewhat George Bush is doing now the way he talks mispronounces words etc. He does this to make himself seem more on level with the "middle/lower class" of the economy hoping to curve some of their votes and them the people could have maybe a better understading of him. By the way the book was made during the Early Renaissance. Machiaveli has been studied also by Tupac a rapper. Anyways my ideology probably has some flaws in it but could be one reason he acts like a idiot sometimes. :)

Or maybe hes just an idiot. And the only reason he was in a good University and passed was because of daddy.

I've heard of that book, our history teacher makes references to it all the time. And it does seem remarkably close to what bush is doing.

Depends on what kind of view you look at the book from, and how you analyze the way he peices his statements together.
But it just my opinion

no, there's no secret here ...bush is dumb as a post ...he got bad grades in school ..even his roomates said he wasnt known for his intellect: he was a party animal frat boy ...he spent most of his time drunk ..he also got busted with cocaine during school but you wont find a record of it, daddy made sure

 Funny shit!

"I'm and optimist"
"we're getting attacked again"

(it's a safe link)

This is, to me, really, really, really, really, really, funny.

on a side note, I love the daily show. :D

Yup, the daily show rocks!

(I still love the "zell on earth" bit.)
I almost fell out of my chair when they were covering the convention in new york, and his "reporter" (forget the guys name) was standing outside and behind him was a brick wall with "BUSH" spray painted in huge white letters. The reporter said something to the effect of "And as you can clearly see behind me, this is indeed, Bush country..." then the camera panned out so you could see the rest of the wall, revealing the words "BUSH SUCKS" in huge white spray paint lol

I love how he says "we're gonna get attacked again" at the end. He says it in such a "Oh Hell." kinda way. Soo funny.

Did you see the "moment of zen" the other day:

Bush "I know an evil man like osama bin laden, has never experienced the joys of chanuka" lol

(wtf)

yeah, that was in the video, and from the episode that this was from.

Innervision: yeah, the zell on earth bit was awsome, and I think it was Steve Colbert who did the NYC bit. :)

the bit (zell on earth) where he chanllenged jon to a dual was awsome.

Yeah it was steve colbert, couldn't think of his name for nothing :)

Hmm, well, since some of you like Jon Stewart, I figure i'll share this with you. :)

When he came to Williamsburg to speak at William & Mary's Commencment, I convinced my mom to get me in on her press credentials. (She's an editor for the Associated Press).

So I got to go, and not only to the speech, but to a press conference with him. The press conference was seriously like 6 people crammed into a small room, which was pretty cool. So for those of you interested, I have a recording from the press conferecne. some funny stuff, some interesting stuff. :)

Note: You must have Windows Media Player 9 or greater to listen.
It's about 11 minutes long, and ~10mb.
About the Quality: this was recorded on a personal recorder, and then transfered to my computer by placing a mic near it while it played. So that's what the quality is shiite.
:)

I like at the end, "he was stooped over, playing with himself, I knew then that we were going to be ok" lol

Did you get to meet him? (john stewart)
And your mom works for AP huh, thats got to be pretty cool!

it's not a vid, just an audio clip. :)

and yeah, shook hands and everyhting. He's really short irl. :)

I personally haven't read the The Prince, but describing Bush as Machiavelian is defeating its original meaning. The only person you should describe Machiavelian is a truely evil person.

The Prince has been used to defend tyrants and despotism. A Machiavelian ruler has no ethical bounds. Machiaveli argued that a ruler should be focused on increasing his power so he can make better political decisions. In order to make better political decisions, a Machiavellian ruler should not be bound by ethical matters.

As much as people hate Bush, he doesn't fall under the realm of Machiavelianism. If Bush was really Machiavellian, CptStern, Mechagodzilla, Sprafa, Neutrino and others would be under a pile of rubble from a tomahawk cruise missle.

PS - I'm too lazy to spell "Machaivellian" right all the time. :p

Well, first of all, you cant be dumb and become president. But telling you that really doesnt matter because youre just going to ramble on about how much Bush is dumb.. Dude, i made bad grades in school too. Its not because i didnt know how to do it or because i was dumb it was because of my lack of motivation and honestly, the shit bored me. I always made good on my tests, for the most part. The thing that killed me was not finishing classwork and didnt do any homework.. I never really failed any classes I just got by, by a hair or two. I hated school, but just because I hated it and made bad grades dont mean shit.. There are people who are really really book smart, always made good grades in school, knew the material really well, but when it came to alot of common sense, they were lacking. So grades in school dont mean shit.

Another thing, people recover from drug addiction all of the time. Yes, i wouldnt doubt the president has had his faults.. and hes even admitted that he does. That makes him a man. With all the shit the president has to put up with, and i mean literally has the "world on his shoulders", plus people criticising him all of the time, 9/11, and all the other little bullshits that come along with the job, i wouldnt be surprised if he started drinking again but he doesnt.. hell if i were him i know id be drinkin all of the time, and i dont even drink!

People change and no one is perfect. Even if President Bush didnt do all that shit in school and made bad grades, there would always be something you would bitch about, always. People just need to relax and stop worryin'.. comin up with all of these conspiracies and shit. Its like rumors that get started in school ya know? No one knows if its true or not, they just make shit up to make someone look bad instead of actually getting to know the person and seeing what theyre really all about.

I try to look at the president from you people's perspective, i try to find things about him that you so deathly hate him about.. i cant find anything. So you dont like his politics.. okay you have different Ideas thats what makes the world go round.. but when youre hitting below the belt with all this bullshit about "hes a coke addict and hes a hellish drunk".. if thats all you got against the president then Im really not worried about whos gonna be in office once again come Nov. Thats all i got to say about that.
