Now before I even bother getting into what my real question is, I just wanna know is there anyone here that actually knows what theyre talking about when it comes to weight lifting, muscle, dieting, etc? Cuz if not I won't bother lol. If there's any of you out there who can help in this area, let me know! :stare:

A few things actually.

1. Are pretzels healthy for you? They're high in complex carbs, but also high in sodium.

2. I workout my biceps and abs monday, wednesday, and friday. Triceps and chest on thursday and Saturday. Is this too much?

3. Now that summers here I was wondering if I can trade in my 4 days of running on the treadmill for 2 hours of basketball a day. Would that still burn enough calories?

1. I never heard anything about negative about pretzels
2. you want to rest a few days aweek...try exercising your abs after you work your triceps and chest, so you can save 2 days a week to rest
3. ontop of lifting, basketball for 2 hours would be a good workout, though keeping up with atleast some running would help

1. Pretzels are perfectly fine. Although they are high in complex carbs and sodium, they are still nutritious.

2. I would tone down the lifting. Work your biceps and back on Monday and Wednesday. Leave Tuesday and Thursday for chest and triceps. Also, try and get your legs into a workout. Legs are a necessary part of lifting. They provide a chemical which is vital in workout sessions. I can't recall the name of it, but it helps your entire body.

3. How long would you say you run on the treadmill? I would keep running on the treadmill, and if possible, run in your local park. It is better to run up hills, down hills, etc.. Try and run for at least 2 days for however long you run for. Then the other 2 days you will compensate by playing basketball.
