WORKSTAION CARDS: any good?

Work station cards, are they any good at 3d gaming, specificaly
source powered gaming.

I know they are designed with programs like
maya/xsi/houdini/3dsx/lw in mind

I will be using a quadro fx 3000? here at work
anyone have any experience

You can't game on a workstation card.

Workstation cards are meant for professionals that do A LOT of rendering and CAD stuff. Deff' not made for gaming
